Rolf Meyer is a shareholder and Vice Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Meyer & Meyer group of companies from Osnabrück. He holds a degree in freight forwarding and was responsible for the establishment and development of national transports. In addition, Rolf Meyer developed the Warehouse division at Meyer & Meyer. Today, the company is considered as one of the leading European logistics companies in the fashion sector. The topic of sustainability is a heart matter for the company, especially with a focus on e-mobility, among other things. The development of a battery-electric heavy-duty truck for delivery to city centers stands out. Funding is available from the BMVI and BMWI, among others, as part of the "NaNu", "RouteCharge" and the current "MEGA-LADEN" projects. Rolf Meyer was deputy chairman of the DIHK Transport Committee. As the first chairman of KNI e.V., he was committed to the further development of the Osnabrück-Münster-Bielefeld logistics region. In 2017, he founded the consulting firm CityWOW! which advises municipalities on CityLogistics issues. Rolf Meyer has been a member of the European Clean Trucking Alliance (ECTA) since 2019.
