Matthias Rathmann is editor-in-chief of the industry titles trans aktuell and WERKSTATT aktuell as well as the industry portal eurotransport.de. At ETM Verlag, where he has been employed for more than 20 years, he also serves as a member of the management board.
The 47-year-old completed an apprenticeship as a freight forwarder and then studied business administration. After that, he officially made the switch to the media world with a traineeship and subsequent work as a political editor at the Stuttgarter Nachrichten, having previously written for many years as a part-time freelance journalist for various local papers.
