Magnus Wagner describes his employment at BMW and Bosch as milestones in his career. During his studies in business administration (2000-2006) at the Otto Friedrich University in Bamberg, he got a taste of the practical side of things at the carmaker.
After an internship at the Oxford plant, he wrote his diploma thesis at the Leipzig location.
He then started as a trainee at Bosch, where he gained management experience in various positions and acquired controlling knowledge within seven years. Most recently, he was group leader Plant Controlling Diesel Systems for two and a half years.
Magnus Wagner's decision to join LIS at the age of 32 was an emotional one.
He joined LIS in 2013 as a project manager and took over as head of the department in 2015. He has been Co-CEO since June 2018.
