Christoph Wenk-Fischer Managing Director, Federal Association of E-Commerce and Mail Order Trade Germany e.V. (bevh)

Christoph Wenk-Fischer has been heading the national association of online and mail-order retailers, bevh, since 2009. After mergers with the Federal Association of Online Food Retailing and the Federal Association of German Mail Order Booksellers, the bevh represents small and large retailers and more than 90 percent of online sales in the end-customer business. The trained lawyer (University of Hamburg) and mediator was a syndicate lawyer from 1997 to 2007 and most recently head of the corporate division "Legal & Real Estate" at Otto GmbH & Co KG as well as managing director of various real estate and service companies of the Otto Group. Before 2009, he was also editor-in-chief of the Neue Juristische Wochenschrift (NJW) in Frankfurt am Main.
