Bernd Rademann has been Head of Logistics at Nordkurier Mediengruppe since July 2019.
After his studies at the Ruhr University Bochum, he went to the TU Dresden to work as a research assistant at the chair for market-oriented corporate management.
He started his professional career in 1996 at the Dresdner Druck- und Verlagshaus, where he worked as assistant to the management, head of subscription sales and finally as sales manager, with a focus on logistics, private mail delivery and Sunday newspaper.
In 2006, he moved to other European countries, where he was managing director of Adria Media Serbia until 2009. Here he was responsible for international licences (Cosmopolitan, ELLE, Men's Health, National Geographic), launching new titles, acquiring a smaller publishing house, restructuring three operational units into one publishing house.
In 2010 he returned to Germany and became Executive Vice President COO for Gruner + Jahr international Magazines GmbH. He was responsible for the strategic development of the country portfolio with a focus on China.
In 2012 he moved to Fiege Logistik Stiftung & Co. KG.
In 2017, he took over as CEO Logistics for Funke Logistik GmbH at Funke Mediengruppe.
Since 2019, he has been CEO of Nordkurier Logistik Brief+Paket. With over 1000 employees, 450 vehicles, depots from Rügen to Uckermark, 40 million items are delivered annually. As a reasonably priced and reliable delivery service provider, Nordkurier Logistik Brief+Paket has made a name for itself in the region under the management of Mr Rademann. Therefore, rural delivery is particularly close to his and his team's hearts. Here, the motto on the last mile is: Country love in every delivery - we like to bring it home even in the countryside.
